Join us at Solana Center for “Taking on Textile Waste” – an event to educate our community about the impact of clothing and textile waste, and the urgent need to move towards more sustainable models in fashion. We’re delighted to have local professionals in the textile and clothing design industry provide demonstrations and insight. A Solana Center volunteer, local student and Girl Scout, Isla Rindt sparked the idea for this event and will be present educating the community with the goal of spreading information about the harmful effects of textile waste and how it can be diverted.
